DEMO 1: CHOOSE CONTROL

The object below is continually changing in three of its characteristics:

The slider control affects all three characteristics simultaneously when you drag the it left or right (try it!). You can use the slider to counteract the changes taking place to any one of the three characteristics. Choose one of the three characteristics and practice using the mouse to keep that characteristic from varying. When you are ready to record a run, click the Start button.

Data recording begins after a brief delay, intended to give you time to begin controlling. When recording begins, the color of the sphere changes from red to green.

Position Shape Orientation

Try dragging the model's gain (Ko) and reference (r) values to reduce the RMS difference and note how this changes the model mouse's curve and the curve displaying the error between the model's prediction and your actual movements of the mouse.
